Catshill Village Surgery

How Do I...
Make An Appointment?

Appointments may be made by telephoning 01527 872426 or by calling at the surgery. Routine appointments may be booked up to two weeks in advance, which will enable us to offer you an appointment at a time more suitable to your requirements. However, if you require an appointment to be seen the same day you are asked to telephone the surgery between 8.00 - 9.30am on the day you wish to be seen.

If you no longer require or are unable to keep an appointment, please inform us as soon as possible to enable us to offer the appointment to someone else. If you repeatedly fail to attend appointments you may be removed from the practice list and will have to find an alternative doctor.

How Do I...
Obtain A Home Visit?

If you are too ill to attend the surgery, please telephone before 10.00am. Please note we follow the guidelines issued by the NHS which states home visits are made at the discretion of the doctors and are made where the clinical situation requires it.

Lack of transport is not a reason for a home visit. Examination of patients is usually far more satisfactory and complete in the surgery where there is the provision of good lighting and the necessary equipment.

How Do I...
Obtain Test Results?

To maintain confidentiality, laboratory results are only given to the patients themselves or to the parents of children under 16. Please telephone or call at reception after 2.30pm.

Some tests take longer than others. Your doctor should be able to give you an idea of how long you are likely to wait.
