The Practice Staff
Practice Manager - Mrs Wendy Goodchild
The practice manager is responsible for the day-to-day running of the practice and the welfare of the practice team.
Receptionists/Administration Staff
We employ a team of dedicated reception staff and a medical secretary who are directly responsible to the practice manager. Our reception team are here to help you to see the doctor or nurse,
handle repeat prescription requests, answer any queries and offer any other assistance which may be needed. All staff are bound by the same code of confidentiality as clinical staff.
Practice Nurses
We employ two practice nurses who offer a comprehensive range of services. Please contact the nurses for advice on health promotion and minor health problems, also for dressings, ear syringing, injections and
vaccinations.
District Nurses
The district nurses are attached to the practice and provide nursing care for patients who are confined to their homes. They are based at Catshill Clinic.

Our health visitor is based at Catshill Clinic. She can give advice on health care for small children and elderly people.

Midwives
The midwives provide care and advice during pregnancy and after childbirth via antenatal classes and home visits. They are based at the Princess of Wales Community Hospital.

Counsellor
Our counsellor helps with emotional and behavioural problems including anxiety, stress, phobias and relationship problems. Patients may be seen at the surgery. The doctors can refer you.
